Welcome to Western Bay @ Work 2011.
Our month long event highlights and showcases the diverse and exciting range of career opportunities available in the Western Bay. Our platform this year is sustainability in the workforce and in the greater community.
A talented, highly skilled workforce is critical in underpinning our economy, by making the Western Bay of Plenty the business destination of choice for companies that produce high value products and services. Companies have always sought to attract the best talent: the difference today is that instead of bringing that talent to their existing locations, companies are setting up facilities where the talent already exists. Talent is the “biggest magnet” for globalised sustainability.
Our Vision is to showcase the depth and vibrancy of career opportunities in the Western Bay of Plenty sub-region, with a particular focus on the importance of sustainability in business.
Our Mission is for Western Bay @ Work to highlight:
1. Career and training opportunities
2. The benefits of improved productivity through:
Our Target Audience ensures we cater to the diverse market in the Western Bay of Plenty.
